This plugin just saved me hours for a one shot import! Very useful tool especially for upserts or updates based on multiple keys.

Solid concept. Especially for upsert. But unfortunately doesn't work at all. Locks up every time. IE: Stays spinning on x%. The highest I got was 67% before lockup. Doesn't matter what type of connectivity is used.
No logs anywhere.
Plus, selection on the grid takes 4-clicks per item to get the list to come up.
Also, "Blank EXCEL CELL" default's to "Clears CRM value" rather than leaving the original value. That's a significant design flaw; Deletion should certainly not be the default. Ever.
And, again, it takes 4 clicks on each line to flip the item to "Keeps CRM value".
An abysmal UX overall.
4-Years since last updates. I guess we shouldn't expect much. But if it's buggy, then it shouldn't be a part of the offering until it's updated.
I wish I had time to branch & modify to contribute rather than just appear to complain. I just don't. I look forward to an update someday.

There is a flaw when using this tool for update. When identifying the 'is key' column, the tool should automatically make/validate the 'CRM Field' is populated. Failure to do so, will take the first row, in the import Excel file, and try to update every record, without considering a key field.

Thank you for your feedback! Indeed while choosing a column as being your key field (in update or upsert cases) you should always make sure that it contains data, otherwise the tool will try mapping to an "empty key" in order to find CRM data (and would then capture wrong unexpected records)

Awesome plugin! Really handy for importing data using fields as a unique key to update and/or create new records. I've been looking for a resource like this for a long time. Previously I've had a custom entity created with a lookup field to the entities I want to update to perform this task. Now it can be done with ease.
Note that it does take a bit of time if you're trying to update big rows of data.
